Obituary for Theodore Chadwick, Jr.

Theodore Chadwick Jr.,51, of 156 Garfield Ave, New London, the son of Theodore and Jacqueline Chadwick, went home to be with the Lord on February 23, 2022.

He was the loving husband of Blondell Chadwick for 18 years before her passing in August of 2012.

Theodore was born on July 15, 1970, in Jacksonville NC, where he attended and graduated from Lyman Memorial Highschool in Lebanon.

Theodore enjoyed listening to music, dancing, and cooking. He also loved taking road trips. He was a fun person to know and brought joy to everyone around him. While Theodore loved to do all these activities, his favorite was spending time with his girls.

Theodore faithfully served on the Board of Diaconates at New Life Church in Ledyard and was the choir director for many years. He started the choir and helped with the praise and worship team.

Theodore worked in social services for many years, where he was able to make an impact with all his clients. He worked at EB, Stonington Institute, Waterford Country School, Joshua Center, JRI, Sound Community and he was currently working at FTD. Theodore had a big heart that showed through his work in the community.

Theodore Chadwick was predeceased by his wife Blondell Chadwick, his mother Jacqueline Chadwick, and his father Theodore Chadwick.

He is survived by his loving children, Kylah, Tonisha, and Yasmin Chadwick, all of New London; soon to be son in law, Lonnie Ray of New London, expectant grandchild, Kylani Ray of New London; his sister, Cornelia White, of North Carolina; his brother, Dwayne Chadwick, of Georgia; two nephews, Darius and Temari White, both of North Carolina; three nieces, Tasia White, of North Carolina, Andrevia Chadwick, and Vetrell Chadwick, both of Georgia; and his mother in Law, Emma Bolden of New London and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and godchildren.
