Obituary for Marvy Cowser
Marvy Cowser, 83, of Cumming, Ga., formerly from Groton, passed away after a brief illness.
Marvy was born June 29, 1939, in Tarrytown, Ga. After graduating from high school, she moved to the New London/Groton area and worked at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital for 40 plus years. It was in Connecticut where she met and married Darwin Cowser. In that union, they had a daughter, Donna. Both her husband and daughter preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her grandson, Laurence Hooker along with a host of family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2022, at Madry Temple in New London, with viewing hours starting at 9 a.m. Lester Gee Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
