Kevin Dwayne Augmon, age 50, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2023. He was born August 4, 1972, in New London, CT, to Geneva Augmon and Richard Vessells.
Kevin attended New London High School. He was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with family and friends. Kevin enjoyed the simplest pleasures; watching Sunday football games, especially his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys, and eating cookies.
Kevin was predeceased by his son Jay Augmon. He is survived by his children Hahkiesh Augmon-Smith and Khalil Augmon; his grandchildren, Naheem White and Khaliah Augmon; mother, Geneve Augmon; brothers and sister Alvester, Gerald (Rasheedah) Augmon, Richard, and Sharde Vessells. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his special friend Laura Silva, and many family members and friends.
Family and friends are invited to the St. John’s Christian Church, 346 Shennecossett Rd. Groton, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2023, to celebrate his life.
