Joan Louise Brouillard, age 62, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital. She had an impact on every life she touched. She will be dearly missed by all of her close friends and family.
Daughter of the late Sylvia and John Travis, Joan was born in New London, CT, on September 16, 1960. Joan had a way of making everyone laugh and come together through tough times. Joan was the type of person to give you the shirt off her back even if she didn’t have one.
Joan L. Brouillard enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends and loved to cook and joke around. She was a true blessing to have in your life and the strongest person I’ve ever met. She could make tough decisions when nobody else could, and she would do what she knew in her heart was the best for everyone.
In addition to her parents, Joan was predeceased by her brother John L Travis.
She leaves behind her son Gregory Milton Turner Jr.;Timothy Brassard and his daughter jasmine; Kenneth C Brassard and his wife Amy and their three children; Daughter, Samantha L Brassard and her two children; as she would call him, her “adopted son” Tomeko Turner, and his two children she loved dearly; her brothers JAY L TRAVIS, Jesse L Travis, Jimmy L Travis, and Joseph L Travis.
There are no words for how much she will be missed, but she wants everyone not to mourn but would like to be celebrated as she lived her life. Joan Brouillard was a dedicated person who would speak their mind. She would look out for everyone in her life. She was a true hero to many who knew. She was a great mother, Friend , and even better person
Joan Brouillard, you will be missed more than you could ever imagine, and may your soul rest in peace, as you deserve nothing less. We love you and will see you again one day!
