Darryl Charles Shelby passed away on November 2, 2022. He was born on August 3, 1988, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the son of Carolyn Shelby and Darryl Lee.
Peddy was the youngest of two siblings. He had a magnetic personality and a great sense of humor. He enjoyed listening to audiobooks, playing video games, preparing unique dishes, and keeping things tidy and organized. Peddy was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, he leaves to cherish his memory sister Ashley Shelby and nephew Liaubry McKinney Jr.; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; close friends Herbert Villarini, Tyler Major, Stephen Dance, Desiree Camby, and William Harris; as well as his godchildren whom he adored, Ethan Harris, Avery Harris, Ariah Harris, and Kobe Harris.
Peddy went on to be with grandma Helen Lee, grandpa Robert Thomas Jr. (Bob), grandpa Charles Collins, stepfather Kenneth Hill, uncles Joseph Lee, Charles (Michael) Lee, aunt Linda Ann Lee, Cousins Terrence Lee, Lil Warren Lee, Lil Robert Smith, and Troy Chuckie Lee.
